Celebrate the musical world of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky
About the concert
The afternoon continues to charm in Concert 4 with more of Tchaikovsky’s familiar works. Melbourne pianists Tristan Lee and Gintaute Gataveckaite will perform a special arrangement for piano four-hands of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake Suite, Op. 20a.
Then, the mellifluous voice of Samuel Sakker (tenor) and associate artist Stewart Kelly (piano) will enchant you with Tchaikovsky’s Six Romances, Op.6.
Closing the program will be Donald Nicolson performing his arrangement of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture for piano and electronic effects.
Melbourne Recital Centre is committed to the safety of our artists, staff and patrons. When we reopen, a range of public health, hygiene and physical distancing measures will be in place. Click here to learn more.
