Free Primary Music Workshops for 2016 Education Week

Students in Years 3 to 6 are invited to hear a free concert at Melbourne Recital Centre for 2016 Education Week and join in the music through body and tuned percussion.

The MarimbaTaters are students from Tate Street Primary School who love to play the marimba!

As a teacher, composer, arranger and musician, Dani Rocca is the Music Coordinator at Tate Street PS and leads the MarimbaTaters. This ensemble features marimbas and percussion including Zimbabwean instruments. Music teachers will take away ideas for small and large group ensemble participation.
