Casual Technician Vacancies:
Sound, Audio Visual and Mechanist positions available

Our Technical team has casual vacancies for experienced technicians across Sound, Audio Visual and Mechanist specialisations to be involved in set-up and production for a variety concerts and events at Melbourne Recital Centre. This role works closely with the Technical and Asset Manager, Technical Coordinator and Concert and Event Managers, across all areas of technical production.

Successful candidates will have knowledge and experience from a live performance environment in Sound, Audio Visual and/or staging and a willingness to multitask across disciplines. An ability to work at heights, good colour vision and a good level of general fitness is essential.

Knowledge of the presentation of both classical and contemporary concerts, including experience in one of the following areas and their production requirements is desirable:

• live audio engineering,
• professional audio visual
• orchestral or theatrical staging
