Music on the Mind - Audience Wellbeing Podcast

Listen to the Music on the Mind Podcast

How does audience experience contribute to well-being?

In October 2017, we welcomed Jane Davidson and Jody Evans to the Salon to discuss what music audiences want and feel; how music audience experience contributes to well-being; and what can be done to improve music audience experiences.

Jane and Jody work at The University of Melbourne, both holding engagement portfolios in their respective schools: Jane at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, Jody at the Melbourne Business School. Both investigate audience experience, Jane focusing on socio-emotional well-being and Jody exploring the building of arts audiences and their collective impact.
