Now in its eleventh year, Melbourne Recital Centre’s Bach Competition is dedicated to young musicians passionate about J.S. Bach.
Melbourne Recital Centre is delighted to announce that the 2020 Bach Competition will be online, with 10 shortlisted candidates competing for a range of prizes including the Richard Mills Prize of $2,000. Judges will view each shortlisted video in concert order with a closed final judging round on Sunday 14 June.
We’re pleased to announce that our judging panel will include Richard Mills AM, Ben Opie, Elizabeth Anderson and Rachael Beesley.
