Join us on YouTube or Facebook this Saturday 8 August at 1pm for our latest concert premiere: Leon Vynehall and The Impossible Orchestra performs Nothing Is Still, recorded live at Melbourne Recital Centre.
‘Vynehall has woven a rich tapestry of complimentary sounds that serves a purpose far bigger than the music itself. It’s an artistic piece in the truest sense that works best as a singular whole, inviting the listener to take the time to clock off for its duration and immerse themselves fully.’ – Pop Matters
Performed in 2018, this yet-to-be-seen live concert recording showcases one of the world’s most adventurous house-music producers and music-makers Leon Vynehall accompanied by the 10-piece string ensemble The Impossible Orchestra for Melbourne Music Week. Vynehall is renowned for tracks that evoke childhood memories and transcend expectations of house music. Pop Matters calls his concept album Nothing Is Still an ‘electronic masterpiece’ while NME praises the album for its ‘symphonic genius’.
