The Limitless Stage Fund supports projects that provide opportunities for outstanding artists to reach beyond the walls of the Centre and directly into communities across Victoria and beyond.

Through a range of outreach activities, including an innovative digital broadcasting program, we aim to realise the limitless potential for musicians to move, inspire and educate audiences across Victoria, and beyond. Gifts to the Fund are tax deductible and are expected to be expended over a five to ten year time horizon.

Mary Vallentine AO retired from the role of Chief Executive Officer in June 2016. She was an outstanding leader for the Centre in its formative years and her knowledge, wisdom, warmth and generosity of spirit have inspired an extraordinary period of growth and acclaim for the Centre. During her tenure, the number of performances has increased from under 200 to over 500 events per year and audiences have grown from less than 100,000 to 165,000. This is an outstanding legacy from one of Australia’s great arts leaders.

Limitless potential for musicians to move, inspire and educate.

The Limitless Stage Fund seeks to make possible projects like the recording and digital broadcast of music programs for children and/or older adults, Local Heroes concerts and new music commissioned by the Centre.

Digital recordings, webcasts and new performance opportunities are central to strong, viable careers for today’s musicians. They also offer an infinite capacity to engage all people in the life-enhancing benefits of music.
