Music is one of the best things in life, don’t you agree? Unfortunately for many Victorians, there’s silence where there should be music.
Last year, our Learning and Access program brought music into the lives of nearly 8500 Victorians facing disadvantage—from school groups experiencing the magic of a concert hall for the first time, to world-class ensembles performing concerts in not-for-profit aged-care and assisted living facilities across the state.
For aged-care residents, these uplifting musical moments are golden—bringing back to sharp definition memories made hazy by the passing of time. See this in action in the video above.
Help us Turn Silence into Song for all Victorians by making a tax-deductible donation to the Centre’s Learning and Access program before 31 December 2019. Your gift is our best chance of achieving our $10,000 goal and amplifying the reach of this vital program.
Music is for everyone. Let Victorians know you agree and give generously today.
