Flinders Quartet 2027

Flinders Quartet returns to Melbourne Recital Centre in 2027.
Now in their 27th year, Flinders Quartet continues to captivate audiences with performances that are both masterful and deeply human. Renowned for bold programming and expressive playing, the ensemble remains at the forefront of Australian chamber music - presenting works that bridge generations, cultures and the very idea of what it means to listen.
The 2027 season, SEE WHAT I HEAR, brings three evocative programs to the Primrose Potter Salon: Colours of Country, Listen to the Land, and The Bird and the Bush. From Debussy, Mendelssohn, Brahms and Haydn to world premieres by First Peoples composers James Henry, Chris Sainsbury and Nardi Simpson - and the launch of a new five-year commissioning partnership with composer Melody Eötvös - these concerts reveal the string quartet at its most alive. Alongside their Primrose Potter Salon season, Flinders Quartet also performs three concerts at Montsalvat in Eltham.
Melbourne Recital Centre is the authorised ticket seller for Flinders Quartet events at Montsalvat.
