Kristian Chong and Friends consist of renowned Australian and international musicians in chamber music at the highest level.
Now in its 13th year in 2026, friends and guests have featured leading musicians such as Sophie Rowell, Ike See and Dale Barltop, cellists Timo-Veikko Valve, Li-Wei Qin, Simon Cobcroft and Richard Narroway, clarinettist Philip Arkinstall, baritone Teddy Tahu-Rhodes, pianist Konstantin Shamray and more.
With repertoire ranging from all the duo Sonatas of composers such as Beethoven and Brahms, piano trios, piano quartets, and piano quintets, to world premieres by Paul Dean and Calvin Bowman and song cycles, audiences can expect world-class performances of mainstays of the chamber music repertoire in the intimate Primrose Potter Salon.
