Melbourne Chamber Orchestra's 2027 season celebrates those conversations between us: between musicians and audiences, soloists and ensembles, composers across generations, and artistic partners whose collaborations reveal new ways of hearing.
It is a season where music gathers and voices meet. Alongside beloved masterpieces by Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Britten, Chopin and Fanny Mendelssohn, MCO continues to champion Australian music through world premieres by Anne Cawrse and Andrew Ford, together with Christopher Sainsbury's compelling String Talk. These works sit naturally beside the great works of the repertoire, weaving threads that connect tradition with new perspectives.
