Back in December 2003, the brief for Elisabeth Murdoch Hall insisted that it “be ranked amongst the world’s great halls for its uncompromised acoustic, architecture and artistic program.”
Global design firm Arup made this a reality. And following a rigorous two-year design phase, the Hall was ready to come to life.
As a gift to Melbourne Recital Centre in our 10th Anniversary year, Arup has developed a 360-degree virtual tour of Elisabeth Murdoch Hall for music-lovers, architectural aficionados and acoustic enthusiasts to explore.
