This special concert showcases the artistry and spirit that have defined the Choir for five decades, featuring performances by current choristers alongside a reunited alumni choir formed especially for this occasion.
The program includes inspiring works by Benjamin Britten, Edward Elgar, Greg Gilpin, Australian composer Katherine Ruhle - as well as a special arrangement by ACC founder Paul Forster, and the premiere of a newly commissioned piece for this occasion by acclaimed Australian composer Paul Jarman.
Over the past 50 years, The Australian Children’s Choir has nurtured thousands of young singers, many of whom have gone on to distinguished professional musical careers.
