Kee’ahn is an award-winning Kuku Yalanji, Jirrbal, Torres Strait Islander songwriter from North Queensland. Gifted their name ‘kee’an,’ a Wik word meaning to dance and to play, Kee’ahn has been performing since childhood, deeply loving the sounds of soul, R&B, and pop.

Blossoming into the limelight after the release of their debut single 'Better Things', Kee’ahn has captivated audiences at WOMAD, Bluesfest, YIRRAMBOI, and supported the likes of Greentea Peng, Angie McMahon, Hiatus Kaiyote and more. With their ability to ‘bring intimate moments to the surface’ (Triple J), witness Kee'ahn up close and personal as they effortlessly weave lush melodies and rich vocals, with heartwarming stories of hope and healing.

Tickets

Standard $55 ($50 Concession)

Please note, online ticket sales for events in The Beacon close 2.5 hours before the performance. After this time, tickets can be booked by calling the MRC Box Office or visiting us in person, pending availability.

The Peter & Ruth McMullin Beacon offers a variety of seating options. Please select your preferred seating type when booking. Our Visitor Experience team will do their best to seat your party together within your selected seating type. Smaller groups may be seated alongside other ticket holders, and for sold-out performances, parties who booked later may need to be split across the remaining available seats.

Tables – Standard dining tables seating 2–4 people.
High Tables – Bar-height tables with stools seating 3–4 people.
Lounge – Curved banquette lounge seating for up to 4 people around a shared table.
