Canberra Tango Quintet presents ‘Echoes of Piazzolla: Zero Hour’ - a celebration of Astor Piazzolla’s life and legendary music.

Piazzolla imagined la hora cero as the experience that unfolds at midnight - “an hour of absolute end and absolute beginning”. Featuring repertoire from the eponymous album ‘Tango: Zero Hour’, the concert traces Piazzolla’s journey to becoming one of the most renowned musicians and composers in history.

Experience Piazzolla’s music in his trademark ensemble that revolutionised tango and classical music - the quintet. A perfect balance of instrumentation accompanied by authentic artistic interpretation, witness Canberra Tango Quintet perform on the very instruments for which Piazzolla's music was written: bandoneón, violin, electric guitar, piano, and double bass.
