Promoting a casual approach to sound and movement, the Centre's series of Relaxed Performances provides the same exceptional artists, in an environment specifically suited for audiences with sensory sensitivities.

Which session time is right for me or my group?

10.30am: Tailored for individuals and community groups
12pm: Tailored for school groups

Cool Out Sun are a cross-cultural project spearheaded by N'fa Jones & Sensible J, blending Traditional HipHop, Afro Beat and Afro soul. The beats provocative, the lyrics powerfully imaginative; the music lets the spirit move you with cultural connection shared in song. The collective invite a range of artist's influences to collaborate during live shows, diversifying an ever changing, seasonal soundscape in world/roots/hip hop music displaying the groups creative diversity, range and freedom.

Since their conception, Cool Out Sun have been turning heads all over the country from their 2018 debut single 'Fire For (Fire Four)' to their sophomore release A LION IS A LION voted #10 on Double J radio's top 50 albums of 2024. Their live shows have had living rooms and venues turn into dance floors.
