East-West Divan Concert

A powerful musical dialogue between Eastern and Western traditions performed by international artists.

The East–West Divan Concert is a unique musical encounter that brings together the rich traditions of Eastern and Western music on a shared stage. Presented and organised by Euphoria of Sound in collaboration with Melodies of Peace, the concert is artistically directed by composer and conductor Iskender Ozan Toprak.

This special event will feature Australian musicians performing alongside distinguished guest artists travelling from Türkiye. Together, they will present a carefully curated repertoire that reflects both Eastern and Western musical heritage, creating a dialogue between cultures through sound.

As part of the program, the ensemble will also perform a movement from the Gallipoli Concerto, a work composed in remembrance of the human stories and shared history of the Gallipoli Campaign.

Through orchestral colour, traditional instruments, and contemporary interpretation, the concert aims to highlight the power of music to unite cultures, honour memory, and build bridges between nations.
