Gardens

Join The University of Melbourne Wind Symphony for Gardens.

An evening celebrating a program of transformation and creativity in wind ensemble music.

From the introspective depth of David Maslanka’s A Child’s Garden of Dreams to the playful folk-inspired melodies of Percy Grainger’s Country Gardens, reimagined in David Stanhope’s Concerto for Band, this concert celebrates music that grows and evolves.

The program concludes with the uplifting finale Make Our Garden Grow from Leonard Bernstein’s Candide, arranged by Clare Grundman, bringing the evening to a resonant and joyful close.
