Kate Miller-Heidke - The Sirens & The Stars Tour

Presale commences 12pm, Wednesday 11 November. General on sale commences 11am, Thursday 12 November.

Australia's most gloriously contradictory singer-songwriter celebrates her new gothic folk masterpiece The Kiss and the Abyss, and 20 years since her debut album Little Eve.

Kate Miller-Heidke has always lived in a place of musical contradictions, moving effortlessly from opera and pop, theatrical and folk, epic and intimate, heartfelt and funny, to classical and of the moment. Her latest album is no exception, The Kiss and the Abyss is a gothic folk record that explores the perils of modern technology and the internet age. Songs that are the sirens of our times – with Kate as the ultimate siren herself, luring listeners into her world with a voice that is otherworldly.

Alongside new tracks, Kate will be digging into the long-buried treasure of her platinum debut Little Eve on its 20th anniversary, bringing back much-requested songs she hasn't performed in years.

Known for leaving audiences in stunned silence one minute and erupting in laughter the next, expect darkness and light, heartfelt emotion and sharp humour, raw folk storytelling and vocal fireworks, dramatic intensity, and pop-folk fun.

Join Kate with her longtime collaborator, the virtuosic Keir Nuttall on guitar and special guests, as she charts a course from Little Eve to The Kiss and the Abyss, plus highlights from the journey between them that have made her one of Australia’s most acclaimed and cherished artists.

Praise for Kate Miller-Heidke

‘Songs of introspection, self-admission, and defiance. Many take us to dark places of personal regret and remorse, but others punch skywards with iron-fisted resolve. She is virtually without peer in the pop world.’ – InReview

‘A vibrant celebration of music, storytelling, emotion, and humour—an immersive experience that forged a deep connection between the artist and the audience. You will be blown away by the experience, the voice and the stage presence.’ – Forte Magazine
