Ning Feng in Recital

A Stradivari, a Guarneri ‘del Gesù’ and an Amati. One extraordinary evening with Ning Feng.
Internationally acclaimed violinist Ning Feng presents a remarkable journey through the sound and evolution of the violin, performing on three extraordinary Italian instruments by Stradivari, Guarneri ‘del Gesù’ and Amati.
Winner of First Prize at the International Paganini Competition, Ning Feng has performed with leading orchestras including the New York Philharmonic and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and in major concert halls around the world.
For this unique recital joined by pianist Angela Li, each historic violin has been carefully matched with repertoire chosen to reveal its distinctive voice and character. Spanning more than three centuries, the program travels from Bach, Schumann and Liszt to Gershwin and Tan Dun.
More than a concert, this is a rare opportunity to experience the evolution of the violin through some of the most exceptional instruments.
