An immersive, multi-level performance in the foyer and stairways of the Melbourne Recital Centre, featuring the Saxophone Ensemble of the Melbourne Conservatorium performing As Dawn Turns by Mira Stephens.

As Dawn Turns

In the early morning, before the first break of light, a small lake is cold, dark, still, and foggy.
As night turns to dawn, the sky becomes lighter, the earth warms, fog lifts, animals wake, and the sun rises.
As dawn turns to day, the sun lifts the fog, wind rustles the trees, clouds are golden, animals are feeding,
and the cogs of life continue to turn.

Free, no booking required.
