Presented by Australian Contemporary Opera Company & The Mietta Foundation
Radiant

Mietta Foundation Song Series
Radiant, the first of three ACOCO-curated programs showcasing contemporary art song, ignites the new series with a luminous mix of Australian works for voice, strings and piano.
Weaving contemporary composition, poetry and outstanding Australian singer-interpreters, into an intimate, joyfully modern concert experience that sits at the intersection of recital and mini music theatre, ACOCO serves to envelop audiences in beauty and ideas.
Across the evening, vivid and distinct musical worlds spotlight the expressive power of the art song, from finely-etched miniatures to expansive narrative arcs.
‘Radiant’ also celebrates the collaborative spirit at the heart of the series: singers, instrumentalists and audience in close conversation, exploring new colours, stories and soundscapes together.
Designed for both devoted art song enthusiasts and curious newcomers, the program celebrates the vitality of Australian composers and writers, while honouring the Mietta Foundation legacy of adventurous, listener focused performance. ‘Radiant’ is both a launch, and a promise of the bold journeys to come.
