T3HO

Immersive textures, explosive dynamics, and limitless sonic spectrum.
Teho. is a bold, boundary-pushing fiddle project from Finland. Led by Tero Hyväluoma and Esko Järvelä, both known from folk supergroup Frigg, the duo are fearless explorers of sound. Deeply rooted in Nordic tradition, their music blends fierce fiddling, contemporary composition, and raw improvisation with touches of folk, jazz, noise, and Nordic intensity.
After a decade as a duo, Teho. evolves into T3HO. – a thrilling trio featuring sound designer Antti Puumalainen. This new formation brings immersive textures, explosive dynamics, and a limitless sonic spectrum to their already virtuosic performances.
Praise for Teho.
‘Each piece is intricately arranged, and played with passion and precision. The sound of someone sawing a fiddle in half, the screaming and growling, are nothing to worry about: these guys have some troll blood in their veins, and the madness just takes them occasionally.’ – FolkWorld
‘…virtuosic and occasionally off-the-wall Finnish fiddle duo Teho.’ – Songlines
‘Teho. bowl over their listeners making them wonder how only two fiddlers can create such a full and massive thrill.’ – Kansanmusiikki Magazine
