The Poetry of Piano Duo

Gala celebrating the artistry and brilliance of two piano.

Acclaimed piano duo Daniel Le and Allie Xinyu Wang present an afternoon dedicated to the brilliance of the two-piano repertoire. Two concert grand pianos share the stage in a program that traverses centuries and styles-from the elegance of Haydn and the Romantic depth of Brahms and Rachmaninoff, to the rhythmic vitality of Lutoslawski, Bolcom and beyond.

Brahms' Variations on a Theme by Haydn brings symphonic grandeur to the keyboard, while Rachmaninoff's Suite No.1 for Two Pianos offers a lush, poetic journey through four evocative tableaux.

This rare opportunity to experience two pianos in dialogue reveals a sound world of colour, resonance, and expressive power. Join us for music that is both grand and intimate, showcasing some of the most captivating works ever written for two pianos.
