Wallace & Gromit - A Grand Day Out with live Brass Band

Spend the school holidays reliving the magic of a classic British film with live brass band accompaniment.
Wallace and Gromit enjoy a day out with a difference when a quest to find cheese prompts a visit to the moon. Despite a few hiccups with their homemade rocket, the duo makes a successful lunar landing, arriving just in time for lunch. But a strange, mechanical being isn’t too happy to see Wallace eating slices of moon cheese...
Following sold-out performances of the acclaimed short film Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers and Shaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas, Darebin City Brass Preston Band returns to Melbourne Recital Centre for a screening of the BAFTA-winning Aardman classic, A Grand Day Out (1989), with live brass band.
Perfect for every member of the family, this performance opens with a selection of rousing brass band works before diving into the humorous world of short films. The score for A Grand Day Out has been specially transcribed for brass band, creating a thrilling screening experience you won’t want to miss.
