Event details

A special musical collaboration that channels joy, optimism, dreams and imagination.

Claire Patti is a celebrated and award-winning musician known for her ability to intertwine musical styles and traditions. Her sparkling artistry as harpist and her sublime voice have anaffinity with traditional Celtic music and jazz.

It is in this space that she meets the sensitive poignant genius of pianist Tony Gould. Here, the sparkle of Claire’s harp, the ringing of her voice and the gentle, reflective touch of Tony’s fingers on the keys of the piano – enhanced by the yearning soulfulness of Louise Godwin’s cello – create the warp and the weft of this intimate collaboration.

About the concert

In their second concert in the Primrose Potter Salon this year, they present a program that looks forward with joy and optimism. Enjoy a celebration of new life and the joy of each new sunrise in Patti’s jig for her daughter, Daisy. The promise of each new season in Kern/Hammerstein’s All The Things You Are. And the assurance of patience and strength in Karine Polwart’s Travel These Ways.

Together, they offer a unique melding of musical styles, ethereal sounds, vocals and instrumentals that draws listeners into an evocative musical space to dream and imagine.
