Under the direction of Award-winning composer and vocal artist Gian Slater, acclaimed ensemble Invenio Singers return to the Primrose Potter Salon to present their full-scale, original work titled Hands For Clay.

About the concert

Dive into the minds of artists and explore themes of power and fragility related to the creative impulses felt by those on stage. A dedication from maker to maker, Hands For Clay offers an understanding of the time, effort, love, and vulnerability that goes into the process of creating.

Premiered as part of Melbourne Music Week 2018, this contemporary choral work composed by Slater for ten a cappella voices maximises the acoustics of this intimate venue to create a surround sound experience that brings audience and vocalist together.
